Israel will never return to Egypt: IRGC general
TEHRAN, Sept. 18 (MNA) – Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Masoud Jazayeri said that the life of the Zionist regime has come to an end, and this regime will never return to Egypt.
Jazayeri made the remarks in Tehran on Saturday in reference to the storming of the Israeli embassy in Cairo on September 9.
“The course of developments illustrates that the evil life of the fake Zionist regime has come to an end, and this regime will never return to Egypt,” Jazayeri stated.
“As the U.S. embassy in Tehran was captured (in 1979) and marked a turning point in (the history of) the Islamic Revolution, the storming of the Zionist regime’s embassy in Cairo, which was undoubtedly this fake regime’s house of spies in Egypt and North Africa, was definitely a golden page in the history of developments occurring in Egypt and the region, and blocked the way for any comprise and deviation,” the general explained.
The U.S. embassy in Tehran, which was called the Den of Spies, was seized by Iranian students on November 4, 1979.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the IRGC general called on the revolutionaries in North Africa and the Middle East to be on their guard and do not allow hypocrites to infiltrate into their revolutions.
He also said, “As time goes by, the noose becomes tighter around the United States, the Zionist regime, and those who have infringed the rights of nations,” and their allies will experience the same fate.
