Iranian wrestler Rahimi wins bronze in Istanbul
TEHRAN, Sept. 18 (MNA)-- Hassan Rahimi claimed a bronze medal in the FILA World Wrestling Championships in Istanbul.
The Iranian 55kg freestyle wrestler beat American Nick Simmons and won a bronze medal. Rahimi shared the bronze with Daulet Niyazbekov of Kazakhstan who overwhelmed Mihran Jaburyan of Armenia.
Viktor Lebedev from Russia claimed the gold medal after defeating Bulgarian Radislav Velikov in the weight class.
Rahimi lost to Velikov in the competition and defeated Kim, Yong-Eub from South Korea, Romanian Andrei Dukov, Andreyeu from Belarus and Simmons.
