U.S. religious leaders vow to help free Iranians in U.S. jails
TEHRAN, Sept. 19 (MNA)-- Four U.S. religious leaders said they will make efforts to help free Iranians imprisoned in the U.S.
They made the remarks in a meeting with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Tehran on Saturday.
Ahmadinejad welcomed the Americans’ travel to Iran and said a joint committee comprised of Iranian and American religious leaders and scholars should be formed.
