TMCA to exhibit unseen Western photos
TEHRAN, Sept. 20 (MNA) -- The Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art (TMCA) will be displaying selected photographs from its international treasure-trove in an exhibition opening on September 26.
The museum has dedicated its autumn exhibit to a collection of photos going on display for the second time after the Islamic Revolution in 1979.
The photos, dating back from 1838 to 1977, were taken by foreign photographers including British photographers William Henry Fox Talbot and Julia Margaret Cameron, German August Sander, as well as American Alfred Stieglitz and Ansel Easton Adams.
The museum is located on North Kargar St., next to Laleh Park.
