Powers Unable to Hijack Nations' Revolutions

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said the regional nations will not allow the world powers, specially the US, to hijack their revolutions.
Abdollahian made the remarks during a meeting with the Sudanese presidential advisor in Tehran on Wednesday.
"Developments in certain regional countries which have resulted from the Islamic awakening have put pressure on the US and Israel, but free nations of the region will not allow the world arrogant powers to hijack their revolutions," the Iranian official said at the meeting.
Elsewhere, he noted Iran's ties with Sudan, and underlined that Tehran sees no impediment or limit on its relations with Khartoum.
He further voiced Iran's readiness to take wide and practical strides to further reinvigorate the relations between the two states, specially in economic grounds.
The Sudanese presidential advisor, who is in Tehran to attend the First International Islamic Awakening Conference, praised Tehran's initiative to host the gathering, and said that the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran proved the Islamic vigilance and political awareness of the Muslim Iranian nation.
"The Islamic Revolution in Iran proved that Islam has a comprehensive program for government and restoration and practice of divine values," he added.
Mustafa Othman Esmayeel further stressed the necessity for consolidating Tehran-Khartoum relations, specially in economic grounds, and viewed President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's next week visit to Sudan as highly important.
He reiterated Sudan's preparedness to expand all-out relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
