Iran`s Jamaran destroyer to be equipped with radar system
TEHRAN, Sept. 22 (MNA) – Iran’s Navy announced on Wednesday that the Jamaran, the first destroyer designed and manufactured by Iranian experts, will be equipped with an advanced radar system in the near future.
The warship can carry helicopters and is equipped with torpedoes. It is 94 meters long and weighs over 1,500 tons. The destroyer is capable of engaging in surface, air, and undersea warfare.
