Persian poet Khayyam poetry now available in Kyrgyz
TEHRAN, Sept.22(MNA) -- Scholar Kurbanich Bek Basil Bekov has recently translated quatrains by Persian classic poet Khayyam into Kyrgyz.
Sponsored by the Iranian cultural attaché’s office in Kyrgyzstan, the book was released in Bishkek.
The Tajikistan ambassador to Kyrgyzstan KAsomudin Saidov and Iranian cultural attaché Mohammad Hossein Abedini have written prefaces for the book.
The book has previously published in Russian, English, Uzbek and Tajik.
