AS UNITED TO SERVE CONTINENTAL CUSTOMERS IN MALAYSIA
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 22 (Bernama) -- AS United Airlines will handle all
aspects of Continental Airlines' operations in Malaysia effective Oct 1, 2011.
In a statement Thursday, AS United said Abadi Aviation Services Sdn Bhd
would be the general sales agent in Malaysia.
"Our new expanded network features non-stop service from United's
Tokyo-Narita hub to Micronesia, New York (Newark) and Houston, in addition to
the six non-stop routes to the US already offered: Chicago, Honolulu, Los
Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington," it said.
AS United bought Continental in a US$3.17 billion all-stock deal last year,
but the airlines continue to operate separately while they integrate into a new
United Airlines.
