BERNAMATV JOUNALIST WINS SPECIAL MICE JOURNALISM AWARD
KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama) - Nursyazana Zulhilmi of BernamaTV is among
the three reporters who won the inaugural Malaysia MICE (Meeting, Incentive,
Convention and Exhibition) Journalism Awards here Thursday night.
Nursyazana won the MICE Industry in Sarawak Special Category for her report
"Sarawak Convention Bureau on Swot Watch" while Norzainah Zainal Abidin of Astro
Awani took the Best Broadcast Special Report category with her report "Malaysia
Di Hadapan Dalam Pasaran MICE" (Malaysia Ahead in MICE Marketing).
The Best Print or Online Feature category went to Chin Mui Yoon of The Star
for her article "Welcoming The World."
They received an all-paid convention package worth RM10,000 (US$3,333) to
attend any journalism conference of their choice, a trophy and RM2,000
(US$667)each.
The awards were presented by Information Communication and Culture Deputy
Minister Joseph Salang Gandum, Tourism Malaysia Chairman Dr Victor Wee and
Borneo Convention Centre chief executive officer, Paul Darcy.
