Lao President Leaves

Pyongyang (KCNA) - Choummaly Sayasone, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and president of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, left here Friday after winding up his schedule.
Present at the airport were Choe Thae Bok, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, Kim Yong Il, alternate member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the C.C., the WPK, Pak Ui Chun, foreign minister, Ryang Man Gil, chairman of the Pyongyang City People's Committee and chairman of the DPRK-Laos Friendship Association, Han Pong Ho, DPRK ambassador to Laos, and officials of the party and armed forces, ministries and national institutions.
Choummaly Sayasone arrived at the airport together with Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly.
A ceremony for sending them off took place at the airport.
Choummaly Sayasone, together with Kim Yong Nam, reviewed a guard of honor.
He wished good-bye to senior officials who came to the airport to see him off.
Pyongyangites warmly bid farewell to him. -0-
