“A Cube of Sugar” posters and photos to go on display in Iranian cities

TEHRAN,Sept.25(MNA)--Ten days before the premiere of “A Cube of Sugar”, some major Iranian cities will be playing host to poster and photo exhibitions for the latest film by Reza Mirkarimi.

Shiraz will be the first to host the showcase from October 2 and the exhibit will tour other province capitals and Tehran.

Photos by Ali Nikraftar alongside posters created by Abbas Kiarostami, Arash Sadeqi, and Behzad Khorshidi will go on display during the event.

Oscar-nominated Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi created seven trailers for the film that will be aired on TV. Other trailers for the movie created by renowned director Rakhshan Bani-Etemad will be on screen in theaters this coming week.

In “A Cube of Sugar”, four sisters come home to help with preparations for their youngest sister’s engagement party, however not everything goes as planned.

Negar Javaherian, Rima Raminfar, Saeid Pursamimi, Parivash Nazarieh, Reza Kianian and Hedayat Hashemi are the A-list cast of the film.

The film will go on screen beginning October 12 in Iran’s theaters.
