Iran has favorable relations with Palestinian groups: Ahmadinejad

TEHRAN, Sept. 26 (MNA)-- On Tehran’s stance toward various Palestinian political groups, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said during an interview with Al Jazeera’s correspondent in New York on Saturday, “Iran supports the causes of the Palestinian nation and has always invited Palestinian groups to maintain unity since we believe that the realization of a great cause depends on unity.”

Iran has “favorable” relations with Palestinian groups and “Mahmoud Abbas’ government has embassy in Iran, and other groups have also representatives (in the country),” he added.
