Iran`s Majlis committee examines proposal to sanction 26 U.S. officials
TEHRAN, Sept. 26 (MNA) – The Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee held a session to examine the proposal seeking to impose sanctions against 26 U.S. officials involved in human rights violations, Kazem Jalali, the rapporteur of the committee, announced on Sunday.
On July 20, the proposal was submitted to the Majlis Presiding Board. The proposed sanctions would include freezing of assets and travel ban on the U.S. officials in question.
