Iraqi paralympic delegation meets Iranian counterparts
TEHRAN, Sept. 26 (MNA) -- A delegation of the Iraq National Paralympic Committee (NPC) met their Iranian counterparts in Tehran on Sunday.
At a meeting held at the Iran Sports Federation for the Disabled, the Iraqi delegation visited the equipment of the Iran’s Paralympic Committee.
“We are pleased to be here and to see the facilities. Hopefully, our Iranian brothers will support us in terms of training courses and training camps,” Chairman of the Paralympic Committee of Iraq Qahtan Tayeh al-Nuaimi said.
Iran’s NPC President Mahmoud Khosravi-Vafa agreed to improve relations between two countries.
“We are ready to expand bilateral relations with Iraq as we are two Muslim countries as well as we are neighbors,” he said.
