Iranian people hold rally in Kordestan to condemn PJAK actions
TEHRAN, Sept.27(MNA) – A number of people from different walks of life held a demonstration in the western province of Kordestan on Monday to condemn the terrorist actions that the counter-revolutionary group PJAK (the Party for a Free Life in Kurdistan) carries out against Iran.
The demonstration was held outside the office of the governor general of the province.
They chanted slogans condemning PJAK and criticized the United States and Israel for providing assistance to this terrorist group.
At the end of the demonstration, a statement was issued, in which the demonstrators called on the country’s security forces to seriously deal with this group.
PJAK was established in 2003. Its camps and bases are mostly located in Iraq, near the border with Iran. PJAK uses Iraqi Kurdistan’s soil as a safe haven for organizing terrorist actions against the Islamic Republic.
