Forestry officials learn about basic agriculture
(KPL) Forestry officials from every corner of the country are attending the course on agricultural production techniques which is being held at the Houay Sone Houay Soua Development Centre from 22 to 26 September.
The training course was chaired by the Ambassador of Thailand to Laos, Mr. Wiboon Khusakul. The others who were at this ceremony were Head of Houay Sone Houay Soua Development Centre and forestry officials from the17 provinces of Laos.
This training course was tailor-made to equip the forestry officials with basic knowledge on agriculture: water management, land improvement and integrated agricultural production-involving organic agriculture, mushroom spore growth, mushroom production, aquaculture and fingerlings nursery management.
