Publishers of Islamic countries to meet in Tehran in November

TEHRAN, Sept.27(MNA) – Publishers from the Islamic countries will get together here in Tehran to attend the 2nd International Conference of Islamic World Publishers opening in November.

Over 40 Muslim publishers are expected to attend the 2-day event on November 13 and 14 to discuss issues related to publishing, conference secretary Ali Zarei Najafdari said here on Monday.

At first, the conference was to be held in October, but it was postponed to avoid a conflict with the Frankfurt Book Fair (October 12-16), he added.

Several meetings are arranged to review the previous issues discussed at the first conference, he said.

“Publication of Holy Quran and Quranic Concepts”, “Copyright Protection”, “Electronic Publications”, and “Book Distribution” are among the topics to be discussed.
