Hyon In Thaek Accused of His Poor Excuse
Pyongyang, September 27 (KCNA) -- Hyon In Thaek called for "spirit of era" and "genuine unification", terming the period of his office "exciting days" and "an era of change" in the north-south relations. He made the remarks at the Sept. 19 ceremony of resigning his office as minister of Unification in south Korea.
Minju Joson Tuesday observes this in a signed commentary:
There has been no such person as Hyon who drove the relations with the north to catastrophe.
He egged his successor and his minions to escalate the confrontation with the north.
Hyon's successor should draw a due lesson from his miserable end and roll back the confrontation policy. Otherwise, the north-south relations will never improve and he will not escape the same fate as Hyon's.
