Dubai Mall to have first Bloomingdale store

The Dubai Mall will host the first Bloomingdale’s store in the Middle East. The leading American department store will be managed and operated by Al Tayer Insignia, a company of the UAE-based Al Tayer Group, said a Press release on Monday.

The 146,000 sq ft Bloomingdale’s store will be a veritable showcase of the finest ‘Bloomie’s’ products for the entire family. Additionally, there will be a home store of about 54,000 sq ft. Bloomingdale’s will join Galeries Lafayette, the prestigious French retailer, who will also open its first Middle East department store at The Dubai Mall.
