Iran`s Meli Bank chief resigns over $2.6b embezzlement case
TEHRAN, Sept. 27 (MNA) – Mahmoud Reza Khavari, the governor of Meli Bank, has resigned as he had come under pressure over the $2.6b embezzlement case.
Reports show that a major part of the embezzlement was taken out from Meli Bank.
The national prosecutor general announced on Monday that arrest warrants have been issued for 22 people, who were involved in the embezzlement.
