UAE Ambassador visits US Congress
Washington, Sept. 24, 2008 (WAM) -- United Arab Emirates Ambassador to US, Yousef Al-Otaiba, has visited the US Congress during which he met with Congressman Roy Blunt (R-MO-7th District, the House Republican Whip, member of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, and the head of the House Energy Action Team (HEAT).
Al-Otaiba also met with Senator Jeff Bingaman (D-NM), who is Chairman of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee and Senator Richard Lugar (R-IN) who is the Ranking Republican on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and its former chairman.
They discussed bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and the United States of America and ways to enhance them.
