KOTA BAHARU (Kelantan, Malaysia), Sept 29 (Bernama) -- Police here say they are now collecting information from every possible source to hunt down two brothers suspected of being behind the multiple bomb blasts acros the border in Sungai Golok, south Thailand who the Thai authorities say are hiding in Malaysia.

Kelantan police chief Jalaluddin Abdul Rahman said on Thursday that police were also getting information from the Thai authorities.

"If it is true that the two men were responsible and they are hiding here, we will arrest them. But in our search so far we have not met such individuals," he told reporters.

Last week, the Thai police identified two brothers as the main suspects in the the Sept 16 bombings which killed five Malaysians and a Thai.

Commenting on the big pile of copies of the Quran reported to have been found in Bachok near here last Thursday, Jalaluddin said they had been sent by a printing company to be destroyed.
