Lebanese parliament speaker criticizes Arab states for creating tension in Syria
TEHRAN, Oct. 2 (MNA)--Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, during his speech at a conference on the Palestinian Intifada in Tehran on Saturday, strongly criticized some Arab states and said the money, which should be spent in support of the Palestinian people, is wasted for creating tension in Syria.
He said Iran and Syria are among the countries which have stood up to the aggressions that Israel has committed, adding the internal conflict in Syria should be settled without any foreign interference.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Berri said the fundamental need of the Palestinian people is unity.
