Iranian sculptor to hold workshops in Arab countries
TEHRAN, Oct.2(MNA) -- Iranian sculptor Taher Sheikholhokamai will hold workshops in Syria, Lebanon, and Morocco.
“I will hold a workshop in a Syrian university early this week and then I will have another workshop in Lebanon,” he told .
Iranian painter Mohammad-Kazem Hassanvand will also hold workshops on painting on the sideline of the same event.
“I try to make some improvisational artworks in these workshops. If it is possible, I will create a 2-3 meter sculpture at a workshop in one of the universities,” he added.
Agadir’s international granite sculpture symposium also invited artists to create sculptures alongside sculptors from eight countries including Greece, Turkey and Morocco.
Sheikholhokamai has previously created a sculpture of an Iranian woman with hijab in Syria.
