Iran`s Gilan Art Bureau raising funds for Somalis
TEHRAN,Oct.3(MNA)-- The Gilan Art Bureau planned to showcase copies of rare photos of the Gilan region at an exhibition to raise funds for the Somalis suffering from severe famine and drought.
The copies have been reproduced from the originals that date back to the nineteenth century, a Gilan Art Bureau official said on the website on Saturday.
The original photos are kept in an archive at the Golestan Palace in Tehran, Mahdieh Delshad added.
The exhibition will be held from October 11 to 16, but the website of the Gilan Art Bureau allows you to take a virtual tour of its gallery, at which a number of the photos is currently on display.
