Tehran’s Book City to review works of Hungarian composer Béla Bartók
TEHRAN,Oct.3(MNA) -- Tehran’s Central Book City will review works created by renowned Hungarian composer and pianist Béla Bartók (1881- 1945) on Thursday.
During the session, music expert Negin Zomorrodi will review and broadcast some musical pieces composed by Bartók.
Béla Bartók was a Hungarian composer and pianist. He is considered one of the most important composers of the 20th century and is regarded, along with Liszt, as Hungary’s greatest composer. Through his collection and analytical study of folk music, he was one of the founders of ethnomusicology.
