Iranian basketball player Haddadi likely to join Mahram
TEHRAN, Oct. 3 (MNA) -- Memphis Grizzlies center Hamed Haddadi is likely to join Mahram Basketball team, according to the reports released by the Iranian media on Sunday.
Haddadi, who failed to inspire Iran to win its third successive championship in Asia in late September, is now negotiating with Mahram.
The 7-foot-2 player has always said that he is hungry for more in the NBA team.
In three years with the Grizzlies, Haddadi only appeared 86 times for the team, averaging 2.2 points.
Haddadi had been linked with a move to Foshan Dralions in late July and Chinese basketball team had reportedly made him an offer of up to $200,000 a month.
