‘Sudan sides with Islamic ummah in support of Palestine’
TEHRAN, Oct. 3 (MNA)--Sudanese Parliament speaker Ahmad Ibrahim al-Tahir, during his speech in the second session of the 5th international conference in support of Palestinian Intifada, which opened in Tehran on Saturday, said Khartoum supports the resistance movement and sides with the Islamic and Arab nations.
Al-Tahir also expressed hope that God will guide Palestinian leaders to achieve unity as the first step on the road to liberation of Palestinian territories.
“We should stand by the resistance movement and continue to campaign against the Zionists until they lift the siege on the Gaza Strip, and the Palestinian refugees return to their homeland,” he explained.
