25 Japanese nationals work voluntarily in Laos
VIENTIANE,OCT.03 (KPL)- Twenty-five Japanese nationals are working voluntarily in health, education, agriculture areas as trainers and health workers.
They are working in Oudomxay, Luang Prabang, Sayaboury, Vientiane (province),Vientiane, Savannakhet, Champassak, Sekong and Attapeu.
The sending of the Japanese volunteers to Laos is facilitated by the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Laos.
On September 28, the Japanese volunteers paid a courtesy visit to Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Department, Ministry of Planning and Investment Mrs Saysamonkham Mangnormek.
Sine 1965, the government of Japan has sent almost 790 volunteers to work in Lao PDR in various areas across the country.
