World Press Cartoon 2011 honors Iranian cartoonist
TEHRAN,Oct.5(MNA) -- Iranian cartoonist Farhad Rahim-Qaramaleki was awarded with an honorary diploma from Portugal’s World Press Cartoon 2011.
Rahim-Qaramaleki competed in the gag cartoons section of the contest with his work “Penniless Cloud” which was previously published in the local newspaper Sorkhab in Tabriz
World Press Cartoon is the annual meeting point for the best humor drawings published in the press all over the world. A selection of caricatures, editorial cartoons and gag cartoons – representing a retrospective view of the world’s current affairs in 2010 – are on display.
