MINISTER USES ELECTRIC CAR TO PARLIAMENT
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 7 (Bernama) -- International Trade and Industry Minister,
Mustapa Mohamed, on Friday set a good example in bid to encourage and enhance
the use of electric vehicles.
Mustapa used an electric car from his ministry in Jalan Duta to Dewan Rakyat
to attend the 2012 Budget announcement by Prime Minister and Finance Minister
Najib Razak.
He arrived in a green Proton Saga BLM at the lobby of Lower House of
Parliament at 3.45pm.
Mustapa said this was his first encounter with an electric car and the
journey was smooth.
Joining him in the car was his deputy, Mukhriz Mahathir.
