Gas production, price on agenda in GECF meeting:Iranian oil minister
TEHRAN, Oct.10(MNA)-- Iran will discuss gas price and level of gas production in the next Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) in Doha , Iran's oil minister said on Sunday.
Rostam Qasemi said that the topics of the production of natural gas and its sales price will be studied in the next round of meetings of GECF.
He emphasized on Iran’s significant share of global natural gas reserves, while adding that the country will participate actively in the next GECF summit. The next GECF Summit meetings will be held in Qatar on December.
On the participation of foreign companies in implementation of oil industry projects, Qasemi said Iran’s diplomacy in the field of energy is to maintain relations with other countries, while welcoming other countries’ investments in oil projects.
He also underlined that Iran’s domestic contractors has very strong capabilities in implementing the oil industry projects and Iran can executes its project without any participation of foreign companies.
