Iranian music exhibition opens in Tehran
TEHRAN, Oct.10(MNA) -- Musical instruments, albums and books on music and audio products are on display during an exhibition in the open area of Vahdat Hall.
The exhibition, held on the sidelines of 12th Iran Music Celebration, was attended by the Rudaki Foundation, Music House officials and musicians.
The Music House also will be holding four concerts on the occasion of the celebration, he said.
“I am very happy that we celebrated eleven years of activities of the Music House which has over 11000 members,” Iranian Music House Director Hamidreza Nurbakhsh mentioned.
He called the Music House a “sure mainstay” for musicians who have passed through several difficulties.
Nurbakhsh said they did not have enough time to organize the showcase properly and some companies could not attend the event due to lack of time. He hoped it would be better organized in future editions.
After his speech, Music House Deputy Director Davud Ganjeii cut a ribbon to officially open the exhibit.
In 2008, the first showcase was held on the sidelines of the Fajr International Music Festival.
Publishers including Mahur, Avay-e Barbod, Mahriz, Rahgozar, Taraneh, Avay-e Mehr-e Mihan, Avaye Hannaneh, Iran-Gaam have offered their products in the field of music.
