Iranian envoy, Lebanese minister discuss defense cooperation

TEHRAN, Oct. 11 (MNA) – During a meeting in Beirut on Monday, Iranian ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roknabadi and Lebanese Defense Minister Fayez Ghosn explored ways to expand defense cooperation between the two countries.

Roknabadi said that Iran is ready to equip the Lebanese army.

In addition, Ghosn announced his readiness to pay a visit to Iran in the near future at the invitation of his Iranian counterpart Ahmad Vahidi.
