Tehran International Short Film Festival kicks off
TEHRAN, Oct.11(MNA) – The 28th edition of the Tehran International Short Film Festival kicked off here at the Azadi Theater on Monday.
Over 130 films coming from 105 countries will be competing in the national and international sections of the festival, as was reported on Monday.
The entries to the competition sections will be screened in both the Azadi Theater and the Iranian Artists Forum, the report added.
Screening of top short films from previous editions, a review of French cinema as well as a review of the productions by Azeri speaking filmmakers are among the major sections of the festival.
Several other provinces including Isfahan, North Khorasan, Mazandaran, Khuzestan and West Azerbaijan are also hosting the event.
The closing ceremony is scheduled to be held at the Azadi Theater on October 16.
