Iran to attend 27th COMCEC meeting
TEHRAN,Oct.12(MNA) - A high ranking Iranian economic delegation, headed by Iranian finance and economy minister Shamseddin Hosseini, will attend the 27th Permanent Committee of Social and Economic Cooperation (COMCEC) meeting which will open in Istanbul on October 17.
The meeting will run four days in which the latest global economic developments and the implementation of the 10-year plan for boosting trade and economic relations among the member states will be discussed.
COMCEC is one of the three standing committees of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) established in 1981. The COMCEC has the duty of monitoring the decisions taken by OIC and taking necessary precautions to strengthen the economic and commercial cooperation between the member countries.
