Joint Buddhist Mass Calls for Improving North-South Relations


Pyongyang, October 14 (KCNA) -- A joint mass of Buddhists of the north and the south praying for national reunification on the 4th anniversary of the reconstruction of Singye Temple in Mt. Kumgang of the DPRK was held in the temple Thursday.
A Buddhist ritual was followed by speeches and a joint prayer of Buddhists for national reunification was read out.
The prayer clarified the firm pledge of the Buddhists to turn out in practical actions to improve the north-south relations and achieve reunification, peace and prosperity of the country so that south side personnel can freely visit the Singye Temple.
