Iran, Russia can preserve balance of power in region: Iranian official
KAZAN, Russia, Oct. 15 (MNA) – During a meeting with the chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Mukhametshin, on Friday, Iran`s Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said Iran and the Russian Federation can play a substantial role in preserving the balance of power in the region.
At the current world situation, in which major developments are occurring, close ties and cooperation between friendly countries is very vital, he stated.
Iran and Tatarstan should utilize their great potential to promote mutual cooperation, he said, adding media outlets should also help the potential be recognized.
