Protest crackdown indicates U.S. failure to solve problems: Iran
TEHRAN, Oct.15 (MNA) – Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili said the brutal crackdown on the American protestors is indicative of the White House’s inability to cope with its problems.
Jalili made the remarks during a meeting with the Sudanese president’s special envoy, Mustafa Osman Ismail, in Tehran late on Wednesday.
Jalili also commented on the repeated failures of the U.S. and Israel in the international and regional arenas and said the Islamic awakening movement is the reason behind the failures.
He also said that Muslim nations should promote their solidarity in order to make maximum use of their "common opportunities".
During the meeting, Ismail also appreciated Iran’s support for his country and called for closer ties between the two countries in all spheres.
