‘Number of security prisoners lowest in Iran’

TEHRAN, Oct. 29 (MNA) – The leader of Friday prayers in Isfahan said that the number of prisoners charged with security-related offences is the lowest in Iran compared to other countries. Iran has always been moving on the path of human rights, Ayatollah Yousef Tabatabaiinejad told worshippers at Friday prayers. Elsewhere in his sermon, he stated that certain Western countries have been conducting a smear campaign against Iran.
