Decree to establish Iran`s first cyber command issued

TEHRAN, Nov.1(MNA) – The director of Iran’s Passive Defense Organization said on Monday that he has officially received the decree to establish the country’s first cyber command. Gholam Reza Jalali also said that the cyber command is tasked with monitoring, identifying, and countering cyber threats against the national infrastructure. On May 16, Iran announced that the general outlines of the cyber command had been prepared and examined by the Supreme National Security Council and senior officials of the Armed Forces.
