‘GC will not approve qualifications of seditionists’

TEHRAN, Nov. 13 (MNA) – Iran`s Guardian Council (GC) spokesman Abbas Ali Kadkhodaii told a press conference on Saturday that those who were involved in the political unrest that followed the June 2009 presidential election will not be allowed to run for the March parliamentary elections. The Guardian Council is constitutionally authorized to vet the qualifications of parliament and presidential hopefuls.
