Advisory Council Holds Regular Session

Doha, November 21 (QNA) - The Advisory Council held Monday its 40th regular weekly session at the White Palace, chaired by its Speaker HE Mohammad bin Mubarak al-Khulaifi. At the outset of the meeting, the HE the Council's Secretary General Fahad bin Mubarak al-Khayarin read the approved council's agenda. The Council then ratified its previous minutes. After that, the Council discussed the following draft laws: 1- A draft law allowing GCC firms to open branches in Qatar. 2- A draft law issuing a unified regulation on extending insurance protection for the GCC military personnel who are working outside their countries in any of the GCC countries. The Council decided to refer its recommendations thereon to the Cabinet. (QNA)
