National Teachers’ Day marks in Vientiane
(KPL) Over 1000 students and teachers gathered at the Vientiane Secondary School on 6 October to show their gratefulness to teachers for the celebration of National Teachers’ Day, 7 October.
Drawing high-ranking officials, including Head of Education Department, Mr Chandy Phommabout, the board of Vientiane Secondary School.
Khukham, an outstanding teacher of the nation, he dedicated to teaching during hard times and also contributed to the human resource development.
A number of outstanding teachers were awarded certificates of congratulation, medals to recognize the human resource development over the past 30 years.
Education Minister Somkot Mangnormek has sent a message to the teachers across the country that he expressed congratulations to teachers and educational administrators who have paid all efforts to the educational development.
He urged all teachers to pay attention to contribute to the society and teachers and educational administrators should overcome all difficulties and work with spirit.
He also called on teachers to pay attention to the education affairs and ideological training of students so as to create student as good citizen and educated persons and contributed to national development. .
