Qatar, France Sign CFA on Media Cooperation

Paris, March 11 (QNA) - HE Mubarak bin Jaham Al Kuwari, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Qatar Foundation for Media and the General Manager of Audiovisuel exterieur de la France (AEF), Mr. Alain de Pouzilhac signed here last night Cooperation Framework Agreement (CFA) aimed at promoting bilateral collaboration in the audio-visual sector. The signing ceremony was attended by Qatar's Ambassador to France, HE Mohammed Bin Jaham al Kuwari. On the occasion, Qatar Foundation for Media CEO praised the partnership with the AEF. This three- year agreement would enhance bilateral cooperation and enables Qatar to take advantage of the French expertise and develop the national audio expertise, broadcast technology, new media applications and training capacities. For his part, Mr. de Pouzilhac said this agreement is the first of its kind to be signed after the merger of Radio France International (RFI), Radio Monte Carlo (RMC), France 24 and the Media Management and Television management training Academy under the umbrella of the AEF, which will provide the Qatari side with the highest levels of professionalism. While, the Qatari Ambassador welcomed the signing of this agreement, which will further strengthen friendship, cooperation, and mutual assistance between the two friendly countries. (QNA)
