PM receives Vietnamese minister
PM receives Vietnamese minister
(KPL) Prime Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh received at his office on Tuesday a courtesy visit of Vietnamese Minister of Information and Communication Le Duan Hop.
At the talks the Prime Minister expressed his warm welcome to the visiting guest and highly valued his working visit in Laos, which would contribute to strengthening the special relations and comprehensive co-operation between the Parties, states and peoples of Laos and Vietnam, particularly, between the Ministry of Information and Culture and the National Authority of Post and Telecommunication of Laos and the Vietnamese Ministry of Information and Communication.
Mr Le Duan Hop informed the host of his activities in Laos between 5 and 8 October, including the meetings with the senior officials of the Lao Ministry of Information and Culture and the National Authority of Post and Telecommunication.
Both sides also held a meeting to urge the businesses to participate in enhancing the cooperation and investment in post, telecommunication, and IT of the two countries Laos and Vietnam.
On the same day the Vietnamese delegation also called on the President of the National Agency of Science and Technology (NAST), Mr. Bountiem Phitsamai.
