President Ahmadinejad Condoles With Medvedev On Tragic Plane Crash

Tehran, April 9, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a message on Sunday expressed condolences with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev on the tragic crash of a passenger plane which claimed several lives in Siberia. The message read, 'The tragic news of the plane crash which claimed several lives grieved me and the Iranian nation.' President Ahmadinejad also expressed his condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the victims' families wishing for a speedy recovery of the injured. A passenger plane crashed and burst into flames after takeoff in Siberia on Monday, April 2, killing 31 people, including Russian citizens./end
