2009 S. MUSKIE GRADUATE FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM STARTS IN AZERBAIJAN
Baku, 09 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)The US embassy in Azerbaijan and IREX (The International Research & Exchanges Board) have today announced the 2009 S. Muskie Graduate Fellowship Program for graduate students and professionals from Azerbaijan.
The
Edmund S. Muskie Program selects outstanding persons to receive scholarships for
Master's level study and professional development in the United States in the
various fields of study.
All fellows will attend classes full time for one to two years and will be required
to create and implement a project related to their professional interest that
benefits the local community. Fellows will also be required to participate in a
full-time summer internship after their first academic year.
To date, 230 fellows from Azerbaijan have got through the program. Last year, the
program selected 15 persons to pursue their studies in the USA.
