“AZERBAIJAN IRREPLACEABLE AS TRANSPORT CORRIDOR”, PRESIDENT ALIYEV

Baku, 09 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)“Our geographical position is very favorable. We are natural bridge.

And having created modern transport infrastructure and other
infrastructures we shall increase our potential. Azerbaijan is irreplaceable country
as transport corridor”, President Aliyev said during opening of the Lankaran Airport
on 8 October.
According to the Head of Azerbaijan State, “the integration processes ongoing in the
world first of all concern the transport sector. “I would reiterate that our country
has very good position in region and we create very strong transport infrastructure,
to play the role of bridge between East and West, North and South.”
Noting the railway, sea and air transport opportunities of Azerbaijan, President
Ilham Aliyev underlined that the country has to reach international standards in
transport services, what will connect Azerbaijan with the neighboring countries,
Europe and Asia.
