Iran Exports $12m Worth Of Medicines To Tajikistan

Dushanbe, May 1, IRNA – The Islamic Republic of Iran has exported 80 kinds of medicines, worth $1.2 million, to Tajikistan during the past Iranian year, ended March 20, 2012. Iranian Ambassador to Dushanbe Ali-Asqar Sherdoust reiterated that Iran is willing to further boost its health cooperation with Tajikistan. Despite sanctions imposed by western states, Iran's scientific potentials have been developed in several areas including military, health and medical sciences, the ambassador added. He called for construction of new pharmaceutical factories and rehabilitation of the old ones in Tajikistan by Iranian experts./end
